Alessio Aceti brings more than 20 years of international experience in cybersecurity and digital transformation. His career has been marked by constant dynamism, innovation, and a passion for building solutions that anticipate tomorrow’s challenges. Since 2023, Alessio has served as CEO of HWG Sababa, created from the merger of HWG and Sababa Security. Before that, he founded and led Sababa Security from 2019, steering it into one of the fastest-growing players in the sector.

His journey began in IT security in the early 2000s, with roles spanning technical account management, sales engineering, and business development. In 2012, he joined a leading global cybersecurity company, rising to VP of New Business by 2018. During this period, he drove international growth initiatives across innovative domains including machine learning and AI-based fraud prevention, industrial cybersecurity, blockchain projects, ICOs, and cryptocurrencies. His work also advanced security in currency exchange platforms, transportation, and the automotive industry.

Alongside his executive career, Alessio is also an invited professor, delivering lectures on cybersecurity at the Universities of Genova, Verona, and Chieti. Today, Alessio continues to champion innovation at HWG Sababa, positioning the company as a benchmark for next-generation SOC and cyber resilience in Europe and beyond.
