Luigi Piergiovanni graduated in Telecommunications Engineering in 2000 from the Politecnico di Milano. He began his professional career at the university, managing partnerships with leading companies in the sector.

In 1999, he joined Sirti as Network Planning Engineer. In 2001 and 2002, he served as Network Engineer at Tecnosistemi and Netchemya, respectively.

In 2003, he joined Sielte S.p.A., where he held several roles of increasing responsibility across Operations and Commercial areas. Since January 2017, he has been serving as Technical & Commercial Director of the Sielte Group.

In 2022, following the renewal of the company’s corporate offices, he was appointed Member of the Board of Directors of Sielte. He also serves on several other Boards of Directors, including SielTre, Ways, Sielte Net Mobile, Futura, and Hdemia.

Recognized as a leading figure in his field, in 2022 he was appointed President of ANIE SIT, the association within Federazione ANIE representing companies involved in the construction of Telecommunications Networks. His presidency was renewed in 2024 for the 2024–2026 term.
